James Levitt first conceived of the Steinbeck in the Schools project and has given generously to support the development of this website and the curriculum it provides.
Ted Cady who as director of the Steinbeck Awards program for over 25 years has worked tirelessly to introduce the Steinbeck in the Schools program to Steinbeck Awardees and in seeking their support. Past Awardees can be found at www.steinbeckaward.com.
Dr. Shannon Miller, Dean of the SJSU College of Humanities and the Arts which has provided staff and financial support.
